The Inspection System
“Ek ek panel ka hisaab.” — No report, no listing. Period.
Step 01 — Dealer Self-Evaluation
When a dealer lists a car on Showrooms.pk, they inspect it panel by panel across 5 views. Every single panel must be individually declared. The report is published directly on the listing, visible to buyers before their visit. Timestamped. Signed. Permanent.

For Dealers
An honest report protects you. If a buyer disputes and your declaration matches your actual listing — you're covered. If you lied, you're not.
What dealers declare per panel
Fraud-relevant statuses highlighted — these are what dealers hide
Genuine
Original factory paint. Untouched.
Minor Paint / Touching
Small touch-up on an otherwise original panel.
Repainted / Showered
Entire panel repainted. The #1 way dealers hide accident damage. Often invisible to the naked eye.
Poteen / Putine
Body filler applied to smooth dents or structural damage before repainting. A direct fraud signal.
Dented
Visible dent, not repainted — an honest declaration.
Replaced
Panel was swapped entirely — usually after serious collision. Must be declared.
Accident History
Direct declaration that this panel was in a collision. Highest severity. Concealing this is the most penalised report.
For Buyers
Our admin team reviews every report. If confirmed — the listing is actioned. Hiding accident damage or meter tampering are among the most serious violations on the platform.
Step 02 — Platform Audit
A pool of dealers is randomly selected each week. Our inspection team visits, physically inspects 1–2 cars per dealer, and cross-checks findings against the dealer's own self-reported form.

Signing a false inspection report is the single fastest way to destroy your trust score — regardless of how clean your history has been. The report is a declaration. We treat it like one.

Reserved for future scoring. Currently, dealers can earn up to 6.5 points from Verification, Profile, and Maturity.
The maximum achievable score today is 6.5 out of 10 — combining full document verification (2.5), complete profile (2.0), and 10+ years in business (2.0). Performance metrics (3.5 pts) will unlock as the platform matures.
